The sixth in a series of 25 Bond coins, this officially licensed product celebrates On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, the 1969 blockbuster. Each coin in the Perth Mint’s James Bond official 25-coin collection has a fully coloured design and celebrates a particular movie. These unique James Bond collectables depict images from the original posters and are struck by The Perth Mint from 1/2oz of 99.99% pure silver. Issued as Tuvalu legal tender, the coins have a maximum mintage of 12,007 each.
Backstory. Bond tracks down Blofeld to Piz Gloria, on a mountaintop in the Alps. Here he finds that Blofeld is brainwashing a group of women to act as his secret agents of biological warfare so that he can blackmail world powers.
Details. The coin features an iconic full colour design of Bond in his tuxedo with gun, on skis from the film poster. This is overlaid with the movie's title lettering. The other side bears the Ian-Rank Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year date, weight and purity, and monetary denomination. Each coin is presented in a 007 acrylic display case within a On Her Majesty’s Secret Service box, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity featuring poster artwork.
